Job Description
HII- Technical Solutions Division delivers professional services to a wide variety of government and commercial customers worldwide to include critical services to our DOD and DOE.
HII - Technical Solutions Division (TSD) is currently seeking a motivated self-starter Project Management Analyst 3 for our HII Nuclear, Maritime Operations Team at our Newport News, VA location. Canidate must have a positive attitude to break down complex ideas into simple concepts. Candidate must have a strong project management with analytical and/or risk management background.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Minimum Qualifications
6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in realted field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
Candidate must have the ability to communicate complex ideas to all levels of management and function well under pressure and on short notice.Proficiency in Excel (as well with other Microsoft products) is required. Proficiency in Hyperion, SAP, Cognos, WebEx & SharePoint is highly desired.Deep sourcing /category management experience and understanding of strategic sourcing methodology (Total Cost Ownership, e-auctions etc.) is required.Candidate must be a strong financial and business acumen, particularly related to spend/procurement.
