HII-Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is currently seeking a Field System Technician to support our USARPAC customer.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Interfaces between systems analysts/programmers and users located in a specialized area to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end users within an organization. Documents product/service requirements and develops test procedures to ensure user requests are carried out. Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program.
Serves as a member of the USARPAC G37 staff.
Build, update, and maintain digital trackers and orders to support exercises.
Build, update, and maintain Knowledge Management and Information Technology SOPs
Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues and following software development lifecycles.
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code
comments and clear code.
Participate in exercise planning related activities. Plan, coordinate and execute USARPAC component participation in assigned USPACOM JCS and Service exercises. Coordinate and manage exercise development in conjunction with USPACOM and component planner and participants.
Plan and assist with set-up of SVTC and other virtual systems for major planning conferences and battle rhythm events.
Support on and off site JELC events
Submit and track trouble tickets to G6 help desk.
CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
6 years’ relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years’ relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years’ relevant experience.
Basic Knowledge management skills – maintain and improve existing digital systems (Shared Portal, Master Activities Calendar, DOD web pages, Outlook Calendar, and other DoD digital system that support exercises or meetings)
Basic Information technology skills (min. DOD IAT, Level 1 certification)
6 years’ experience with DoD.
Valid US Passport
Preferred Requirements
Army Field Grade officer with exercise planning background highly preferred.
2 years’ experience of Joint Exercise Lifecycle (JELC) planning process.
4 Years’ experience supporting USARPAC staff.
8 Years’ experience supporting USINDOPACOM theater operations.
Previous experience with the Army Training Management System (ATMS) and its components Army Training Network (ATN), Unit Training Management (UTM), Digital Training Management System (DTMS), and Combined Arms Training Strategies (CATS).
Previous experience as an exercise planner.
Previous experience briefing senior leadership at the General Officer, Flag Officer, or Senior Executive Service level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to proof read, edit, and finalize exercise planning products for senior leader briefings.
