15+ years of building engineering, facility/construction/project management experience with a demonstrated focus in making buildings outstanding workplaces
Experience managing a full-scale in-sourced facilities or project management team tasked with delivering exceptional results in a fiscally responsible manner
Deep expertise in the planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, and executing of all technical services required to maintain and improve a large real estate portfolio. This includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, fire-alarm, janitorial, landscaping, flooring, lighting, furniture, warehousing, pest control, interior plants, and call-center services;
Extensive knowledge of and experience with the upkeep and function of buildings, building systems, machinery, landscape, and quality improvement projects;
Capability to diagnose, handle and resolve maintenance issues quickly and efficiently, including experience prioritizing and assigning materials and resources;
Demonstrated ability to oversee preventative and scheduled maintenance programs;
Experience handling fixture and furnishings warehousing operations and inventory control;
Ability to balance the trade-offs between operational risk and investment, constantly seeking the highest quality and design at the best value;
Excellent leadership, communication, and supervisory skills, including experience working with all levels of an organization and ability to handle customer service issues involving employees in a professional and positive manner;
Demonstrated success in employee development and mentoring including fostering collaboration, continuous performance feedback and motivating the team to develop and utilize tools for more efficient operations and improved customer service;
Experience building and maintaining relationships with facility operation, maintenance & services companies, utility companies, and government agencies;
Demonstrated ability to bring cross-functional teams together within and outside the Real Estate & Development function, including Security, IS&T, Finance, Corporate Communications, and Procurement to ensure standard methodologies and continual process improvement;
Strong resource management, balancing end user requirements with constantly changing fiscal requirements and personnel resources/constraints;
Experience in conservation and sustainable building maintenance practices.

We are looking for a high-energy candidate with proven experience in facilities management with a demonstrated focus in operating buildings as outstanding workplaces, delivering high quality results at the best value. The Director of SCV Site Services will be responsible for supervising a team of seasoned professionals and multiple organizations to provide top management and support of the SCV real estate portfolio. Organizations under this manager include: SCV Facilities and Operations & Maintenance, Shipping, Receiving & Mail Services, Print Services, Conference & Production Services, Building Management, Guest & Badge Services, Graphics, Signage & Facilities Web Management.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Building Construction Management preferred.
